Former England manager Graham Taylor outlines the factors that he feels will play a major part in determining who triumphs in the FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Taylor, in charge of England between 1990 and 1993, said: "Only Brazil have ever won the World Cup out of their own continent. World Cup-winning squads are made up of players, three or four of whom have got 80 or 90 caps, while the others have 30 caps – they're experienced. But what World Cup winners generally have is a special player, and that special player performs at the tournament."
Taylor's look at the factors needed for success is just one in a series of special FIFA World Cup features on the UEFA Training Ground, with the one-time Aston Villa FC manager also discussing the merits of Germany, England, defending champions Italy and UEFA EURO 2008 winners Spain.
