'It's not enough': Greece and Romania gloomy

"Disappointment" was the word on everybody's lips as UEFA.com's Paul-Daniel Zaharia spoke to Romania and Greece players after their 0-0 draw in Group F.

Răzvan Raț, Romania captain
I am disappointed because I hoped and believed we could get four points from the two matches against Hungary and Greece. Instead we got two and it's not enough. We played well at the back but lacked efficiency going forwards.

Next up is Finland. Regardless of the fact we won 2-0 in Helsinki, Finland are a very dangerous team. I don't want to be thinking ahead of the mach that our last game in the Faroe Islands is decisive. No, no, no – we have to play better and get some luck from elsewhere in the group, like we did today in Belfast [where Northern Ireland scored late to earn a draw against third-placed Hungary].

Ciprian Tătărușanu, Romania goalkeeper
I am deeply disappointed with the result, but we had a good game. Of course, three successive 0-0 draws is not at all good or positive, but unfortunately that's all we could do. If Hungary had won today, the pressure on us would have increased, so it's very good that Northern Ireland equalised. We are still favourites to qualify: direct qualification, not via the play-offs.

Sokratis Papasthatopoulos, Greece captain
We played for 0-0 draw, and even if though we achieved it, I personally am disappointed, first of all because of our situation, which is a difficult one [Greece remain bottom of Group F]. A year and a half ago, in World Cup qualification, we had 18 points. Now we have three. How could I not be disappointed? Is it a positive or a negative result? I think it's both.

Orestis Karnezis, Greece goalkeeper
Everything has a beginning and an end. I hope this result is a new beginning after so many negative results. Now we have to win our last two matches to regain our confidence. I am disappointed because we have a good team.

These qualifiers should be a good lesson for us because the next ones, for the World Cup, will be crucial. Playing against a good team like Romania is never easy and our first objective was not to concede. This is our only source of satisfaction, albeit a small one.
