We won but to be honest I am not happy with my team's performance. The first 30 minutes were good. I talked with the players in the dressing room and told them they needed to be focused for all 95 minutes of the match, not just 30. We should have scored more because we do not know how this group is going to be decided.
With all respect to Gibraltar this group could be decided on goal difference. I think my players did not play with the right attitude. When you have opportunities like this, we must score more goals. Anyway, we got the three points and that was our first aim. I saw Gibraltar against Poland and I believe they played better tonight. It is Poland next and we want to secure a good result again. If my players have the same will and passion that Scotland had, we will have great results. Technically we are very good, but in terms of attitude we miss something that could take us to the next level.
Allen Bula, Gibraltar coach
It was a good match from our players. We conceded three goals but we had chances. The players were different from the last two games and the result perhaps did not reflect what happened on the pitch. The nerves and tension from the first two matches seemed to have gone and without pressure the players did well and played some good football. They enjoyed it more, they were more relaxed, they showed more character and we were close to scoring. This game shows that if we understand these players and if we get more support, things will get better. Today's game gives us some hope that we can put in good performances against the world champions Germany.
