Vicente del Bosque, Spain coach
Isco performed very well. We also played well, we dominated the match and the two first goals calmed us down. [Sergio] Busquets was booked and that's why he was substituted at half-time. [Substitute] Bruno Soriano was excellent. We don't score enough goals from outside the box so these two goals [from distance] should give us more confidence and we have to improve this aspect of our game. I want to say thanks to the city of Huelva and to RC Recreativo de Huelva for providing all the facilities we have had here. The pitch was excellent. Sometimes it is good to call up young players – the debutants deserved to be here.

Santi Cazorla, Spain midfielder
Yes, I'm thrilled [to play in this stadium again as an ex-Recreativo player]. It's a special ground with important memories for me and I always enjoy playing here. I'd like to thank the people for the support they've given me and I hope they enjoyed the game. I feel great and the most important thing for me was the victory for the team.

Of course we wanted to score as many goals as possible. We had chances to make the scoreline even more convincing, but I think 3-0 is a good result.

Debutant's thrill

Álvaro Morata, Spain forward
It's three very important points for us. Maybe we could have got a more convincing result but the most important part is the three points. It's a dream come true [to make my debut] and I'm one of the happiest people in the world. [Isco] scored a brilliant goal. Isco really likes hitting shots like that. We're all delighted for him.

We thank everybody for [the support in Huelva]. The atmosphere during the match was great and we want to thank everybody who came to Huelva today. I hope [to stay in the senior team]. Whenever they need me, I'll be ready.

Andrei Zygmantovich, Belarus coach
Spain are in better shape than us, it has been a very difficult night for us. They are a world-class side who play a high-tempo game. The first two goals we conceded from outside the area were due to mistakes by us, we lost the ball in the middle of the park. We've played against better and faster players than ourselves this evening. This defeat can help us in the future. Looking ahead I know as coach what we have to do. The players have to learn how to play a faster game. The score is a negative for sure but I faced a new experience which I will learn from.
