Temuri Ketsbaia, Georgia head coach
I have already spoken at full length recently so I have nothing new to say. Unfortunately my tenure with the national side has ended in a sad manner. From now on I will be supporting the team as an ordinary fan.
Jaba Kankava, Georgia captain
I want to thank the fans who came to support us. Unfortunately we did not meet their expectations. I don't think that the scoreline is fair reflection of the game. We conceded the first two goals from set pieces which ultimately cost us the game.
Giorgi Loria, Georgia goalkeeper
We had a number of good chances in the first half but we were totally outplayed after the restart. The result is hard to take after such a shameful defeat. I don't even know what to say.
Adam Nawałka, Poland coach
Judging by the result one might think that it was an easy win for us but in fact it was not. Georgia produced solid resistance before the break and had several chances they could not convert. We could have scored too but our tempo was too slow before the break and our possession was mainly in the middle of the park. But our advantage became obvious in the second half and we were worth the win in the end.
Kamil Glik, Poland defender
The score does not really reflect what happened on the pitch. Before the game we established that it would be very hard for us here in Tbilisi – and it was in the first half when we failed to take our chances. But after the final whistle we are happy with the victory and the performance.
