Sweden's Zlatan Ibrahimović "satisfied" with draw in Austria
Coach Erik Hamrén echoes captain's sentiments and is "happy with the point"
Home coach Marcel Koller pleased with team's performance
Marko Arnautovic believes Austria "deserved more"

Zlatan Ibrahimović,  Sweden forward
I think it was a good point today. It was a difficult game. Last time we were here, we lost. Today we did better. We were ready for the game, we take one point with us, we are satisfied.

[For Erkan Zengin's goal] it was a wide free-kick, I headed the ball down, it was a very good goal. They gave us little space and put on a lot of pressure, it made it difficult for us. But we managed to play well and create the chances we needed and we equalised. They played at home and had the advantage of their supporters. They are a strong team. We were prepared for that and we were ready. In the end we got a point.

Marcel Koller, Austria coach
I think we had a good game tonight, we dominated in my opinion. Their defence were good, they did not make life easy for us – in the second half more than the first. You can see that we have improved in the last two years. We played against very good opponents, but unfortunately we could not win.

We missed good opportunities, but the groups winners are not going to be determined after the first matchday. All the coming games are going to be tough, we have to stay calm and look forward.

We have one point now against the group favourites. We have to play faster up front and try to find spaces. When we create chances, it is a credit to the team. I hope we will be able to convert more chances as that will earn us points.

Erik Hamrén, Sweden coach
I am happy with the result, with the point. We played a tough game against a strong home team. We were a goal down after seven minutes, but we managed to get back into the game quickly. I am happy with some parts of the game, though we were unable to keep possession in the first half. We often lost the ball immediately after winning it. Austria forced us to clear the ball long whenever we were under pressure. All credit to the home side, they were strong.

Austria did not really surprise us with anything – we did not play well in the first half, we failed to respond to their chances. They had some half-chances and then some really big opportunities. The second half was better from our point of view. Zlatan showed a different face today, he really played for the team. He did not get into many goalscoring positions, but he was working hard.

It is different to play away from home, we stuck to our tactics today. We were well prepared for Austria, we knew their strengths, they have some great individuals. At home they play attacking football. They were pressing for the ball and caused us difficult moments. I think Austria lost the points today, we can be happy with the point we earned. This is only the start of the qualifying campaign, we are leaving satisfied. There is still lot to play for.

Marko Arnautovic, Austria midfielder
I am not satisfied. We deserved more. We played in one direction for 80 minutes. Sweden had no chances. We should have won the game. I am definitely not happy. This was still the first game, so I don't know if we have dropped two points. We have to go from game to game, but we must not play like tonight. This was not our usual level.
