Montenegro followed up their opening draw with Poland by putting six goals without reply past San Marino in 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying Group H.
Luka Djordjević and Fatos Beqiraj put the visitors in command with goals midway through the first half. The latter found the target again early in the second half before substitutes Elsad Zverotić and Andrija Delibašić, the latter with a double, rounded off the scoring.
San Marino almost took a surprise lead after seven minutes when Davide Simoncini's volley from a corner was cleared on the goal line. The visitors made the breakthrough after 24 minutes, Djordjević mopping up the rebound from close range after captain Stevan Jovetić had struck a post with a deflected shot.
Beqiraj swiftly doubled the lead with a sidefooted volley and scored again six minutes after the break having cleverly brought the ball under control inside the penalty box. Zverotić added the fourth with a powerful shot from outside the area three minutes after entering the fray.
Another 66th-minute substitute, Delibašić, then took centre stage, scoring a quick-fire double to help Montenegro to the top of the group on goal difference from England and Poland.
