Spain coach Luis Aragonés has recalled Fernando Morientes and Sergio González for next Wednesday's friendly against Uruguay in Gijon.
Lengthy absence
Liverpool FC striker Morientes returns after almost a year's absence, while it is more than two years since RC Deportivo La Coruña midfielder Sergio was called up for international duty. Aragonés explained that the pair's involvement in European competition with their clubs swayed him to include them in the 22-man squad.
