Three-game tour
Jürgen Klinsmann's side will travel east on 13 December, and meet Japan, the Korean Republic and Thailand in the space of a week. VfL Wolfsburg goalkeeper Jentzsch, FC Schalke 04 defender Pander and DSC Arminia Bielefeld midfielder Owomoyela - who has opted to play for the 2006 FIFA World Cup hosts rather than Nigeria - are all called up for the first time
Missing players
Klinsmann will be without Arsenal FC's Jens Lehmann, Fulham FC's Moritz Volz and Aston Villa FC's Thomas Hitzlsperger as all three will be in action in the English Premiership over the period. However, Chelsea FC are allowing defender Robert Huth to join the party.
Stuttgart four
Meanwhile, the VfB Stuttgart quartet of Philipp Lahm, Kevin Kuranyi, Andreas Hinkel and Timo Hildebrand will miss the first match of the tour against Japan on 16 December because of their involvement in the UEFA Cup, but will link up with the team for the match against the Koreans on 19 December and Thailand two days later.
