⚒️ How it works

In early June, every ticket holder will receive an email with some key instructions on how to access the EURO 2024 Event Companion and the Fan Pass:

How to access your Event Companion and Fan Pass

1. Download the EURO 2024 app

2. Log in with the same email address you used to purchase your tickets*

3. Turn on push notifications so we can send you important updates

4. Enable location permissions – we'll only use it on the day of your match for crowd management and safety reasons

That’s it! Your Event Companion is all set up and you have access to your Fan Pass.

*If someone else bought your match ticket, they need to transfer their ticket to you and you may need to create a MyUEFA account, if you don't already have one.

🤔 EURO 2024 App & Fan Pass FAQs

Account & login

Which email address should I use to log in to the EURO 2024 app?

If you bought the tickets yourself: Log in with the same email address that you used at purchase. You will see your Fan Pass and get personalised updates and live notifications for your matchday.

If you've been transferred your ticket: Make sure you use the email address to which they were sent. You may need to create a MyUEFA account with the same email address first if you don’t already have one.

*Note that some mobile tickets cannot be transferred. To find out more about mobile tickets, visit the ticketing FAQs.

Do I need to have a MyUEFA account?

Yes. If you're the one who bought the match tickets, you already have an account. If someone else bought your ticket and you've been transferred your tickets, you may need to create an account. It's free and simple – just make sure you use the same email address as for your match tickets.

I'm logged in but it says "You don't seem to have any match tickets".

Okay, let's do some troubleshooting:

1️⃣ First things first – check you have a valid ticket for EURO 2024 in your UEFA Mobile Tickets app.

2️⃣ Make sure you used the same email address when logging in to both the UEFA Mobile Tickets app and the EURO 2024 app.

3️⃣ If you have just been sent or transferred your match ticket, give it a few minutes. Restart both apps and log in again.

Fan Pass

Can I use my Fan Pass to access the stadium?

No. To enter the stadium, open your UEFA Mobile Tickets app and be ready to show your match ticket. The Fan Pass will not give you access to the stadium.

Do I need internet or mobile data to access my Fan Pass?

You need to be online to load your Fan Pass in the app.

When added to your Google Wallet or Apple Wallet, you can access the Fan Pass anytime, even when you're offline.

What if my phone battery dies?

Make sure your phone is fully charged so you can show your Fan Pass when travelling. Screenshots or printouts will not be accepted by staff on-site. Remember you can bring a small power bank into the stadium if you're worried about battery life on matchday.

What if the name on my Fan Pass is wrong?

Simply go into "Account settings" on your UEFA profile and update your name. You may need to close the app and re-open the Fan Pass for the change to take effect.

You may be asked to show valid ID when travelling with your Fan Pass, so it's important your name on it is correct.

Can I print out the Fan Pass or show a screenshot?

No, screenshots or printouts will not be accepted.

Can I send my Fan Pass to someone else?

No, only if you transfer them your match ticket. Fan Pass is linked to your ticket account, so if your guests want to have their own Fan Pass on their phone (e.g. if they travel from somewhere else), simply transfer your match ticket to them via the UEFA Mobile Tickets App.

What if my guest doesn't have a mobile phone, can I have several Fan Passes on my phone?

That's not necessary. Your Fan Pass recognises the number of tickets you have as it's linked to your ticket account. For example, if you have two match tickets on your phone, your Fan Pass will show two people, meaning that both you and your guest can travel with the Fan Pass.

If someone in your group doesn't have a mobile phone, simply keep the match tickets on your phone and travel together on your Fan Pass.

How do I know what services my 36 Hour Travel Pass is valid on?

Within the validity period of the 36 Hour Travel Pass, you can use your Fan Pass on the local regional network. If you're unsure if you're connection is included, it's best to check the website of the respective transport network(s). You can find the list here.

Alternatively,

1️⃣ Open your Fan Pass on the EURO 2024 app.
2️⃣ Tap on "36 Hour Travel Pass". You'll find a list of all services that are included for your Host City.
3️⃣ Head to the transport network website. Check out their network map and plan your journey.

Note that long-distance train services (ICE, IC or EC) cannot be used with the 36 Hour Travel Pass.

Other EURO 2024 app questions

What languages is the EURO 2024 app available in?

The EURO 2024 Event Companion, providing all you need to know for your trip to Germany, is available in English and German.

The rest of the app is available in English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

What are you using location services for?

Make matchdays safer by sharing your location. Switching on location permissions helps us safely manage crowds and send you personalised travel and stadium updates based on your location. Select "Always allow" when prompted, but don't worry: we will only track and use your location on your matchdays and will switch it off automatically the next day.

I have a question about other features of the app (Predictor game, live scores, ...).
