UEFA EURO 2024 Team of the Tournament

UEFA’s team of technical observers has released the UEFA EURO 2024 Team of the Tournament, featuring six Spain players, two from France and one each from England, Germany and Switzerland.

 
   

Six players from UEFA EURO 2024 winners Spain and one from the runners-up England have been named in the UEFA EURO 2024 Team of the Tournament. Two players from France and one each from Germany and Switzerland complete the line-up, which was selected by UEFA’s technical observer team.

Spain midfielder Rodri was named UEFA EURO 2024 Player of the Tournament, while 17-year-old Spain’s Lamine Yamal won the Young Player of the Tournament award, and both are included in the XI.

The technical observers chose a 4-3-3 formation, which was one of the most frequently used during the tournament. The line-up included the following players, with Kyle Walker making his second successive appearance in a UEFA EURO Team of the Tournament:

UEFA’s technical observer team was made up of 12 former players and current/former coaches:

Aljoša Asanović (Croatia), Rafel Benítez (Spain), Frank de Boer (Netherlands), Packie Bonner (Republic of Ireland), Fabio Capello (Italy), Jean-François Domergue (France), Avram Grant (Israel), Aitor Karanka (Spain), Ioan Lupescu (Romania), David Moyes (Scotland), Michael O’Neill (Northern Ireland), Ole Gunnar Solskjær (Norway).
