The UEFA Referees Committee has announced that François Letexier from France will referee the UEFA EURO 2024 final between Spain and England, which will be played on Sunday 14 July at 21:00 CET at Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany.

The 35-year-old Frenchman, an international referee since 2017, has already officiated at 65 UEFA matches in his career. At this year's EURO final tournament, he has refereed three matches including the Spain-Georgia round of 16 game and two group stage matches – Croatia-Albania and Denmark-Serbia – and also acted as fourth official at the Germany-Scotland opening game in Munich.

Last season, Letexier took charge of ten UEFA club competition matches in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League and was the fourth official at the UEFA Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid at Wembley. He also refereed the 2023 UEFA Super Cup between Manchester City and Sevilla in Piraeus, Greece.

François Letexier will be joined at Sunday's final by French assistants Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni, while Szymon Marciniak (Poland) will be fourth official. The video assistant referee (VAR) role has been assigned to Jérôme Brisard (France), assisted by Willy Delajod (France) and supported by Massimiliano Irrati (Italy). Tomasz Listkiewicz (Poland) completes the line-up as assistant reserve referee.
