36 Hour Travel Pass
🌿Match ticket holders are entitled to a 36 Hour Travel Pass for the entire MVV (Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund) network at no additional cost. The pass is valid from 06:00 on matchday until 18:00 the following day.
Make sure to find your recommended route to the stadium so you can enjoy the pre-match buzz and join other fans as you head to the game. 🏟️
Munich Football Arena is located around 15km north of Munich city centre, so make sure you leave enough time to get to the stadium. Public transport is always the most convenient, fastest and most sustainable way of travelling to the arena. The stadium can be easily reached by bike, too.🚲

🚗 Stadium parking
Public parking at Munich Football Arena is now available to pre-register for €24 per match on a first-come, first-served basis.
Just keep in mind that driving to the stadium is generally not recommended and we strongly encourage the use of public transport on matchday. If you do drive, share a car with friends and family to make the most of this option and ensure you arrive together.
- Spaces are limited, so register early if you’re planning to drive.
- Pre-registering your license plate is mandatory and no parking will be available to purchase on matchday. Cars without pre-registered parking will be turned away.
- Please note parking spaces may not be fully accessible. Dedicated accessible parking has been made available to Wheelchair and Easy Access ticket holders.
EURO 2024 climate fund
€5 from each booking will be donated to the EURO 2024 climate fund supporting climate protection projects carried out by amateur football clubs in Germany. More information is available here.
⚠️ City centre traffic will be extremely busy and it may take you much longer than expected to drive to the stadium. Set off with plenty of time to spare.
Fans who have not pre-registered a parking space at the stadium but still need to travel by car can use the Park + Ride facility near Munich Football Arena and continue their journey to the stadium by public transport. One such option near the arena is the car park at Business Campus Garching-Hochbrück, which is within walking distance of the Garching-Hochbrück U-Bahn station. From there, you can reach Fröttmaning U-Bahn station in under 5 minutes. You can pre-book your parking space here.
The motorhome parking area at Munich Football Arena will be closed during the tournament. However, there are several other places to leave your motorhome in and around the city:
- Parkharfe Olympiapark: 200 pitches without infrastructure or sanitary facilities
- Thalkirchen campsite: 150 pitches with infrastructure and sanitary facilities
- Obermenzing campsite: 350 pitches with infrastructure and sanitary facilities
- Langwieder See campsite: 200 pitches with infrastructure and sanitary facilities
- Munich North-West campsite: 100 pitches with infrastructure and sanitary facilities
The stadium has limited parking for coaches or mini buses, which can be booked by fans or by travel agencies. Coach parking passes are free but must be requested in advance via the dedicated online portal. Requests can be submitted until one day before the match.
Don’t drive to the stadium without a coach parking pass as no passes will be available to purchase on the day of your match.
Your coach parking pass will show your dedicated parking location.
Please print your pass and be ready to present it to staff onsite.

👋 After the match
🚇 After the match, it is best to use U-Bahn line U6 towards Klinikum Großhadern to return to the city centre and continue your journey from Marienplatz.
Extended transport services
🚇 Has your match gone to extra time or even penalties? Don’t worry, public transport services will be extended to make sure everyone can make their way back from the stadium. On top you can always take a shuttle bus waiting south of the stadium Esplanade. The busses will take you either to Scheidplatz U-Bahn station, which is connected to Munich Central Station via U-Bahn line U2, or to the shuttle bus stop in the Olympic Park.
⏰ Fans with connecting trains from Munich Central Station or connecting flights from Munich Airport should head straight to Fröttmaning U-Bahn station after the match in order to make their connections. U-Bahn line U6 will get you to transport hubs in the city centre, including Marienplatz and Munich Central Station, even at late hours.
