DB Mobility Service Centre

Onboard DB trains and at train stations

Trains are generally accessible for fans with limited mobility; carriage doors are wide enough to fit wheelchairs and trains are equipped with dedicated wheelchair spaces.

  • You can pre-book your wheelchair space in advance for long-distance trains such as ICE, IC and EC services.
  • Equipment such as walking aids can be carried free of charge.
  • At larger train stations, you can request a wheelchair should you require it.
By plane 🛬

If you require additional assistance, make sure you inform your airline in advance of the kind of support you need. Visit the dedicated mobility and accessibility page on the Munich International Airport website for information on services available on arrivals and departures. It is best to do this at least 48 hours before you start your journey to allow plenty of time for arrangements to be made.

By car 🚘

There are a large number of designated disabled parking spaces (link available in German only) throughout the city. Please note that we do not recommend driving into the city centre as matchday traffic may increase your journey time considerably. Explore using a Park + Ride facility and transit onto public transport to continue your journey.

Accessible travel guide 🧑🏼‍🦽

The German National Tourist Board has a dedicated guide on accessible travel throughout the country that can help you plan your EURO 2024 trip.

Wheelchair users, people with a walking disability and those with hearing or visual impairments will find answers to questions about a host of topics.

Ⓜ️ Almost all stops within the Munich transport network are now accessible, with new subway, bus, tram and suburban train vehicles designed to make boarding easier for fans with mobility impairments by providing additional ramps and technical equipment. Fans with visual and hearing impairments can request further resources to help with journey planning. For additional information, please visit the dedicated MVG page ⬇️

Visit the MVG barrier-free travel page

🚕 There are various taxi companies that specialise in inclusive transportation, including transport for wheelchair users via a ramp or lift whilst remaining in their wheelchairs for the entirety of the journey.

Accessible parking with pre-registration is available at 📍 car park P1 at the stadium.

Fans with accessible parking tickets can use the car park from 4 hours before kick-off. Please note that all cars need to have a valid EURO 2024 parking pass. Parking passes were offered as part of the application process for accessible tickets. Due to heavy matchday traffic, we recommend arriving as early as possible.

⚠️ Please note that only vehicles up to 2m in height can access the area.

🚕 By taxi

There are several taxi companies that specialise in transporting wheelchair users via ramps or lifts, with passengers remaining in their wheelchairs throughout the journey. At the taxi drop-off in the south, there is a buggy service which people with limited mobility can use to get to Entrance 1. Make sure to inform your driver of your preferred destination as there are multiple taxi stations around the stadium.
