36 Hour Travel Pass
🌿 Match ticket holders are entitled to a 36 Hour Travel Pass for the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (hvv) at no additional cost. The pass is valid from 06:00 on matchday until 18:00 the following day.
Make sure to find your recommended route to the stadium so you can enjoy the pre-match buzz and join other fans as you head to the game. 🏟️
⚠️ Please do not drive to Volksparkstadion. There is no public parking at the stadium and matchday traffic will significantly increase your travel time by car.

🎫 Before you travel to the stadium, make sure to check your match ticket for the entrance that is assigned to your seat. Suggested matchday travel routes may differ depending on the entrance you use to enter the stadium.

⚽ Don’t miss a kick!
Due to heavy traffic, it may take you much longer than expected to get to the stadium. Set off early and make sure you have plenty of time to spare.
Instead of travelling by car, use public transport and follow these general instructions:
📍 Entrances C and D: take the S-Bahn train to Othmarschen station
📍 Entrances A, B, E and F: take the S-Bahn train to Stellingen station
It is recommended to use the following routes to the stadium:

📍 Start: Hamburg Central Station S-Bahn
🚈 Line: S3 (towards Pinneberg) or S5 (towards Elbgaustraße)
➡️ Get off at Stellingen S-Bahn station
🚶♂️ Distance: approx. 20 minutes to the east side of the stadium
⏱️ Total travel time: approx. 35 minutes
📍 Start: Hamburg Central Station S-Bahn
🚈 Line: S1 (towards Wedel)
➡️ Get off at Othmarschen S-Bahn station
🚌 Shuttle bus to the stadium from Othmarschen
🚶♂️ Distance: approx. 5 minutes
⏱️ Total travel time: approx. 45 minutes
📍 Start: Sternschanze (Messe) S-Bahn station or Reeperbahn S-Bahn station
🚈 Line: S5 (towards Elbgaustraße) or S3 (towards Pinneberg)
➡️ Get off at Stellingen S-Bahn station
🚶♂️ Distance: approx. 20 minutes to the east side of the stadium
⏱️ Total travel time: approx. 50 minutes
📍 Start: Reeperbahn S-Bahn station
🚈 Line: S1 (towards Wedel)
➡️ Get off at Othmarschen S-Bahn station
🚌 Shuttle bus to the stadium from Othmarschen

📍 Start: Hamburg Airport (Flughafen) S-Bahn station
🚈 Line: S1 (towards Wedel) to Hamburg Central Station
↪️ At Hamburg Central Station change to S3 (towards Pinneberg) or S5 (towards Elbgaustraße)
➡️ Get off at Stellingen S-Bahn station
🚶♂️ Distance: approx. 20 minutes to the east side of the stadium
⏱️ Total travel time: approx. 1 hour
📍 Start: Hamburg Airport (Flughafen) S-Bahn station
🚈 Line: S1 (towards Wedel)
➡️ Get off at Othmarschen S-Bahn station
🚌 Shuttle bus to the stadium from Othmarschen
🚶♂️ Distance: approx. 5 minutes
⏱️ Total travel time: approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
⛔ Attention: Please do not travel to the stadium on MetroBus line 1 towards Trabrennbahn, as this service will be diverted via Bahrenfeld S-Bahn station.
⛔ Attention: Please do not travel to the stadium on MetroBus lines 2 and 3 or XpressBus line X3 towards Trabrennbahn. Capacity is very limited and long waiting times are to be expected.
By bike, e-scooter, taxi or on-demand service:
You can also travel to the stadium using your own bike or rental bike.

📍 Additional bicycle parking spots: north of the stadium
There are no parking areas for e-scooters in the immediate vicinity of the stadium or the Fan Zone. E-scooters can only be left in designated parking areas. The relevant apps and operators have all the information you need, so consult those before setting off!
E-scooters can be dropped off at the following locations near the stadium:
📍 Near Entrance C: Max-Schmeling Straße
📍 Near Entrance B: August-Kirch-Straße
📍 Near Entrances E and F: Farnhornweg and Hellgrundweg
A drop-off point for taxis and on-demand services is located around 400 metres north of the stadium, on Farnhornweg. The stadium is six minutes away on foot.
🚫 No public parking on matchdays
There are no public parking spaces for cars available at Volksparkstadion Hamburg on EURO 2024 matchdays. Give your wheels a break and use the U-Bahn or S-Bahn instead!
The stadium has limited parking for coaches or mini buses, which can be booked by fans or by travel agencies. Coach parking passes are free but must be requested in advance via the dedicated online portal. Requests can be submitted until one day before the match.
Don’t drive to the stadium without a coach parking pass as no passes will be available to purchase on the day of your match.

⏰ Late kick-off, extra time or penalties? Don’t worry!
Public transport services will be extended for Volksparkstadion matches that kick off at 21:00, ensuring everyone arrives safely at their destination. Services run until 02:00 during the week and all night on Fridays and Saturdays. Shuttle buses will also run longer into the night.
