🎉 Fan Zone Heiligengeistfeld
The Fan Zone Heiligengeistfeld is the perfect place to meet friends, family and colleagues throughout the tournament. Located in the heart of the St. Pauli district, expect tens of thousands of fans to join in the celebrations.

Open on every EURO 2024 matchday, starting from 14 June.
Opening hours vary depending on the kick-off time of the day’s first match:
6 July 2024: 16:00 – 23:30
9 July 2024: 19:00 – 23:30
10 July 2024: 18:00 – 23:30
14 July 2024: 18:00 – 23:30
For knockout games that kick off at 21:00 and go to extra time or penalties, the Fan Zone will remain open until 30 minutes after final whistle.
Fan Zone entry is free of charge!

Become part of the UEFA campaign, spearheaded by Ruud Gullit and backed by Manuel Neuer, Ana Maria Marković and Gareth Bale, and learn how to save a life! 🦺
The campaign is a joint initiative from UEFA and the ERC to raise awareness on the topic of sudden cardiac arrest and the importance of bystander CPR.
Take part in the CPR-race or visit the online-module where you will be trained by Erling Haaland and Thierry Henry.
🚆 Travel to the Fan Zone and Public Viewing
The best way to get to the Fan Zone is by public transport, bicycle or on foot. As there are no car parks near the Fan Zone, it is strongly advised not to travel by car.
📍 Closest U-Bahn stations: Feldstraße, Messehallen and St. Pauli
🚶♂️ Distance: approx. 5 minutes
📍 Closest S-Bahn stations: Reeperbahn and Sternschanze
🚶♂️ Distance: approx. 20 minutes
You can get around Hamburg quickly by bike. Hop on the saddle and head to the Fan Zone using either your own bike or a rental bike. You can hire and return your rental bike at the stations near the Fan Zone. Click here for more information about registration and rental bike stations.
Why not combine your journey to the Fan Zone with a walk through picturesque Hamburg? If you set off from Hamburg Central Station and walk past the Town Hall and Jungfernstieg to Heiligengeistfeld, it will take you around 40 minutes to reach the Fan Zone.
Of course you can also take an e-scooter.
⚠️ Please keep in mind: There are no parking areas for e-scooters in the immediate vicinity of the Fan Zone. E-scooters can only be left in designated parking areas. The relevant apps and operators have all the information you need, so consult those before setting off!
🍔 Food & drink
The Fan Zone offers a wide range of food and drink for every taste – including a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options. The cuisine of the nations playing in Hamburg is reflected in the menus, so you can look forward to international dishes such as ćevapčići, çiğ köfte, lahmacun and falafel. There are also tacos, burritos, burgers and plenty more besides!
The range of drinks also includes something for everyone. From soft drinks to beer, wine and cocktails, you can quench your thirst and (hopefully) raise a toast to your team’s victory!

ℹ️ Info Point at the Fan Zone
There is an Info Point container at the Fan Zone, where you can seek assistance with any issues you may have. The Info Point also serves as a lost and found office.
🦸♂️🦸♀️ Awareness team
At all operating times, an awareness team will be at the Fan Zone to assist you in situations where you feel uncomfortable. You can identify members of the team by their purple high-visibility vests. Information posters and signs at the Fan Zone will also help you locate them.
❓ Fan Zone FAQs
You can enter the Fan Zone via two entrances (A and B). There are two additional entrances (C and D) when the Public Viewing is open.
There are two gates between the Fan Zone and the Public Viewing area, allowing you to move between the two areas. A traffic light system will indicate whether you are allowed to move from one area to the other (green) or not (red).
At Entrances A and B, security personnel will conduct body searches and random bag checks. Please read on to find out which items are prohibited. Fans posing a security risk due to alcohol and/or drug consumption may be denied entry.
The Fan Zone has a maximum capacity of 11.000 people. This does not include the Public Viewing area, where an additional 40.000 fans can be accommodated. The overall capacity when both areas are full is therefore 51.000 people. When the capacity limit has been reached, fans will no longer be allowed to enter.
The same restrictions apply for items brought into the Fan Zone and the Public Viewing:
- Backpacks, bags and suitcases up to A3 (297 x 420 x 150mm) in size are allowed in. Larger bags can be deposited at a secure bag storage area for a fee. The storage area is located outside the Fan Zone between Entrances A and B.
- Prams and pushchairs are allowed in.
- Dogs and other animals are prohibited on the Festival grounds – with the exception of service animals such as guide dogs.
- Weapons of any kind and items that can be used as weapons or projectiles
- Irritant sprays such as deodorants or hairspray
- Lasers of any kind, including laser pointers and laser pens
- Corrosive, highly flammable or colouring substances, and other devices containing substances that may be harmful to health
- Narcotics of any kind
- Bottles, cans, jugs, etc. made of metal or glass
- Vehicles such as bicycles or scooters
- Bulky objects such as ladders, stools, chairs or crates
- Objects of a pyrotechnic nature, such as flares, fireworks, torches or sparklers
- Noisy instruments such as whistles, vuvuzelas, megaphones or compressed air horns
- Symbols of a political, ideological or advertising nature
- Xenophobic, racist, discriminatory or politically radical material as well as items that glorify violence or conceal identity

The Public Viewing is located within the Fan Zone. Watch selected EURO 2024 matches on a 100m2 screen with other fans – an experience to rival any stadium!

🍔 Food & drink
You will be well catered for at the Public Viewing, where you will find numerous stands offering vegetarian options, french fries, leberkäs in a bun, grilled specialities as well as soft ice cream, slush ice, churros, crêpes and much more besides. Various drinks stands also offer fresh draught beer, wine, cocktails and a large selection of soft drinks.

The Public Viewing area can be accessed via Entrances C and D. There are two gates between the Fan Zone and Public Viewing, allowing you to move between the two areas when the Public Viewing is open.

🎡 Spectacular
UEFA EURO 2024 kicked off in Hamburg on 2 December 2023 with the "biggest final draw" of all time. In a spectacular event at the harbour, the six groups of four countries were recreated using shipping containers.
The follow-up to the container installation can be enjoyed in the Public Viewing area of the Fan Zone Heiligengeistfeld: seven containers stacked on top of each other represent the day's matches and results. The XXL scoreboard is located on the Millerntorstadion side and offers all fans an ideal photo spot.

🌱 Sustainability
With your help, EURO 2024 Festival in Hamburg aims to be as sustainable as possible. For this purpose, lots of measures are being implemented in the Fan Zone and throughout Hamburg including:
- Drinking water and sunscreen are available for free of charge in the Fan Zone.
- Reduce, reuse, recycle: food and drinks are served in reusable dishes and waste can be disposed separately at recycling stations. The Green Volunteers will help you at any time.
- The Fan Zone is a place of discovery and encounter: In the Community Spot, various associations and institutions are showcasing their work and providing information.
- 15 projects funded by the "Hamburg, your EURO" ideas competition are bringing the EUROs to the city: from the Homeless EURO 2024 to the street soccer tournament series for tolerance and an event organised by the DFB Foundation Sepp Herberger on topics of football for the blind, deaf and amputees.
