๐ŸŒ Accessible travel to and in Munich

By plane ๐Ÿ›ฌ

If you require additional assistance, make sure you inform your airline in advance of the kind of support you need.

Visit the accessibility page on the Munich International Airport website for information on services available on arrival and departure. It is best to do this at least 48 hours before you start your journey to allow plenty of time for arrangements to be made.

By train ๐Ÿš†

All trains arriving at Munich Central Station are accessible without barriers. Deutsche Bahn trains are generally accessible for fans with limited mobility; carriage doors are wide enough to fit wheelchairs and trains are equipped with dedicated wheelchair spaces.

Booking a Deutsche Bahn train ticket

  • Wheelchair spaces on Deutsche Bahn trains must be booked in advance.
  • Itโ€™s recommended to select a connection with sufficient transfer time.
  • Equipment such as walking aids can be carried free of charge.
  • Deutsche Bahn have a dedicated Mobility Service Centre (MSZ) to support you with your planning. They can also organise assistance for boarding, transferring or getting off a train

By car ๐Ÿš˜

There are a large number of designated accessible parking spaces (link available in German only) throughout the city. Please note that we do not recommend driving into the city centre as matchday traffic may increase your journey time considerably. Explore using a Park + Ride facility and switch onto public transport to continue your journey.

Scroll down to "Accessible stadium travel" for information on accessible stadium parking. โฌ‡๏ธ

Accessibility of public transport ๐Ÿš‡

Almost all stops within the Munich transport network are now accessible, with new U-Bahn, bus, tram and S-Bahn vehicles designed to make boarding easier for fans with mobility impairments by providing additional ramps and technical equipment.

Fans with visual and hearing impairments can request further resources to help with journey planning.

๐Ÿš Accessible stadium journey

๐Ÿ’ก Munich Football Arena and the Champions Festival in Olympiapark are located outside of the city centre.

Please allow sufficient time for travel to these destinations, especially as kick-off approaches.

Fans with disabilities are recommended to use the accessible U-Bahn line U6 to travel to Frรถttmaning station near the stadium.

When you arrive at Frรถttmaning station, exit on the south side and follow the signs to the elevators. These will take you to the start of the stadium esplanade, where a buggy service to Entrance 1 is available. The buggy is accessible, including for wheelchair users.

๐ŸšŒ By shuttle bus / coach

The shuttle buses that run between the Champions Festival and Munich Football Arena are accessible.

๐Ÿš— By car (pre-booked accessible parking)

Accessible parking with pre-registration is available at car park P1 (see map above) at the stadium.

Fans with accessible parking tickets can use the car park from 4 hours before kick-off. Please note that all cars need to have a valid UCLF parking pass. Accessible parking passes will be available to request during the application process for accessibility tickets and are subject to availability.

Due to heavy matchday traffic, we recommend arriving as early as possible.

โš ๏ธ Please note that only vehicles up to 2m in height can access the area.

๐Ÿš– By taxi / rideshare / "Kiss & Ride"

Taxi drop-off and pick-up points are located south and north of the stadium (see stadium map). Make sure your driver is aware of these locations as they may vary from usual matchdays at the stadium.

The drop-off and pick-up point for private vehicles ("Kiss & Ride") as well as rideshare operators is located further south (see map above).
