The draw for the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship group stage was made at the Hotel Topkapi Palace in Antalya, Turkey, on Tuesday.
Sheila Begbie, third vice-chairwoman of the UEFA Women's Football Committee, Mikael Salzer, UEFA head of women's and futsal competitions, and Turkish national team coach and tournament ambassador Abdullah Avcı conducted the draw. Hosts Turkey were pitted in Group A alongside tournament debutants Portugal and Romania, as well as Denmark, who qualified as best runners-up.
In Group B, England, who have reached three of the last five finals, once more come up against Sweden, the side they beat in the 2009 showpiece in order to lift the trophy in Belarus. Also in Group B are Serbia, who booked their place despite losing 7-0 to Sweden in their opening qualifier in September. Completing the section are Spain.
The finals take place from 2 to 14 July.
