The Czech Republic and Lithuania will stage the UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship final tournaments of 2017 and 2018 respectively.
Both nations will be hosting European women's final tournaments for the first time following a decision taken by the UEFA Executive Committee at its meeting in Nyon. The Czech Republic has wide hosting experience, with the men's UEFA European U21 Championship concluding in Prague in June, while Lithuania held the 2013 UEFA European U19 Championship.
The Women's U17 finals were originally played as a four-team tournament at the Stade Colovray opposite UEFA headquarters from the competition's inception in 2007/08 to the 2012/13 edition. Eight sides were involved in the 2013/14 finals in England, with this season's competition to climax in Iceland from 22 June to 4 July. Belarus are hosts in 2016.
