Michael Käld, Finland coach
We did it, I thought we did it in style and we did it our way. We knew we had to win the game today so our objective was clear but I did not genuinely think it would come as quickly as it did. From a tactical point of view I could have gone for broke but I trusted the football instincts I have developed over the last two years and it paid off. We scored two great goals and I admit my heart sunk when they got one back just before half-time. I thought "here we go again". But I gave my team some positive energy at half-time. I told them to keep it tight and play like a team and they did and here we are in the semi-final - this really is dream land for us.
Peter Bonde, Denmark coach
I am very disappointed right now. We started very badly and it was uphill for us for the rest of the match. We did not play to our usual standard. Our crossing was poor – normally this is a real strength for us but we hit balls which were too high and too slow into the box and I thought their keeper was outstanding. We knew she was good but tonight she was just incredible. The positives we can take from this tournament are we have more experience. It has been a sharp learning curve for both me and the team though. When we have got over the initial disappoint I hope we will be a stronger team and more determined to do better next time. Well done to Finland, they deserved it today.
