UEFA Women's Cup hopefuls Olympique Lyonnais have signed internationals Louisa Nécib and Elodie Thomis from Montpellier Hérault SC.

Female Zidane
The French champions have taken on the two 20-year-olds who are shining for the senior national team after winning the UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship with France in 2003. Capped 19 times, Nécib is regarded as the female equivalent of her fellow Marseille native Zinédine Zidane, while Thomis' pace has seen her compared to Thierry Henry. She has scored once in 18 international appearances. Both players scored against Lyon in the French Cup this season and will join former Montpellier stars Camille Abily, Laure Lepailleur, Sonia Bompastor and Hoda Lattaf at their new club.
