On Thursday UEFA Women's Champions League holders Olympique Lyonnais defend their title against sole three-time European queens 1. FFC Frankfurt at Munich's Olympiastadion, with some of the biggest names in the female game involved.

UEFA.com spoke to Lyon captain Sonia Bompastor and Frankfurt's stand-in skipper Sandra Smisek for their player-by-player guides to the two finalists, with the French side fielding a "bulldozer" and a "leech" while their opponents will counter that with a "snappy dog".
