European champions Olympique Lyonnais have completed the signing of Brazilian international Rosana ahead of the start of their UEFA Women's Champions League title defence against CFF Olimpia Cluj next week.
Rosana, who has been capped 33 times by Brazil and appeared in three FIFA Women's World Cups, moves to the Division 1 Féminine side for an undisclosed fee after two seasons at Women's Professional Soccer club Sky Blue FC.
The 29-year-old, who began her career at São Paolo FC before spells at SC Corinthinians Paulista and SC Internacional, is no stranger to Europe, having spent four seasons with Austrian outfit SV Neulengbach between 2004 and 2008.
The versatile South American, who can play at left-back, on the left wing or in central midfield, was a runner-up at the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2007 and a silver medal winner the following year at her third Olympic Games.
Olympique Lyonnais visit Olimpia Cluj in the first leg of their UEFA Women's Champions League round of 32 tie on Wednesday, with the return match taking place in France on 5 October.
