John Guidetti and Simon Gustafson struck early on as UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals contenders Sweden got the better of Russia in Turkey.
Up against opponents lacking experience at this level, Sweden made a bright start, Guidetti finishing following a Ludwig Augustinsson corner. Viktor Claesson then swung the ball in from the right on 22 minutes for BK Häcken's Simon Gustafson to make it 2-0 at the training pitch in Belek, Antalya.
Nicklas Bärkroth looked the most likely player to add to Sweden's tally after he came on as a 60th-minute substitute, but his best chance whistled just past the post. Örebro SK goalkeeper Jacob Rinne was not overly troubled, but showed admirable composure for Håkan Ericson's side.
Sweden: Rinne, Johansson (Bergström 60), Nilsson Lindelöf, Baffo (Holmén 60), Augustinsson (Konate 46), Gustafson, Hiljemark, Khalili (Bärkroth 60), Hrgota, Guidetti (Tibbling 60), Claesson (Ishak 72).
