The UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-off draw will be streamed live on UEFA.com from 14.00CET on Friday in Nyon and holders Spain are among seven nations seeded.
Following the end of the qualifying round on Monday, ten group winners and the four runners-up with the best record against the sides first, third, fourth and fifth in their section progressed to the two-legged play-offs held between 12 and 16 October. The winners of those ties will join hosts Israel in the final tournament from 5 to 18 June next year.
In the draw, as per the official regulations, the seven group winners with the highest competition coefficients have been seeded: Spain, the Czech Republic, England, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and France. Those teams will be drawn against the unseeded teams – Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, Serbia, Denmark, Slovakia and Norway.
No nation able to play a side they faced in their qualifying round. Each time a pair of teams are drawn, they will be placed in another bowl and the side selected will be at home in the first leg.
