Holders France are among the eight teams in Pot B after the seedings were confirmed for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship elite round draw at 11:00CET on 13 December.
• There are four seeding pots in accordance with the coefficient ranking list, with the seven countries with the highest coefficients in Pot A – including Spain, who received a bye through the qualifying round – the next seven in Pot B, and so on.
Seeding pots
Pot A: Spain, Germany, Croatia, Israel, Austria, Sweden, Netherlands
Pot B: Slovakia, France (holders), Turkey, Italy, Norway, Greece, Czech Republic
Pot C: Hungary, Poland, England, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Ireland, Serbia
Pot D: Bulgaria, Scotland, Cyprus, Finland, Belgium, Portugal, Belarus
• No group winners from the qualifying round can play the runners-up from the same section. There is no such protection for the best third-placed team, Belarus.
• Each group will comprise one side from each pot, with the hosts then appointed to hold the mini-tournaments, which must be completed by 28 May.
• The seven group winners will join hosts Georgia in the finals from 2 to 15 July.
