Holders Russia are in the third pot of seeds for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship elite round draw, which will be streamed live on UEFA.com from Nyon at 11.30CET on Thursday.
Following the qualifying round, which ended earlier this month, 28 teams have progressed to compete in the second stage next spring. They have been split into four seeding pots according to their coefficient, which is based on performance in the qualifying round.
In the draw seven groups will be formed, all consisting of one side apiece from the four seeding pots. No nation may meet opponents they played in the qualifying round.
The hosts will then be selected for each mini-tournament. Only the group winners will progress to join hosts Malta in the finals from 9 to 21 May 2014.
