Holders England have been drawn with hosts Serbia in next month's UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
In the draw at Belgrade City Hall made by Serbia senior coach Vladimir Petković and Jim Boyce, first vice-chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee, England and the hosts were placed in Group A with 2004 winners France and Denmark. The 2009 champions Germany play the side they beat in that final, the Netherlands, 2006 runners-up the Czech Republic and first-time qualifiers Romania in Group B.
Group A will be played in Novi Sad and Indjija and Group B in Smederevo and Belgrade, with games on 3, 6 and 9 May. The top two in each pool go through. Novi Sad's Karadjordje Stadium will stage the semi-finals on 12 May and the final three days later.
Eurosport will televise nine games live including both semi-finals and final. The top three teams in each group qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico from 18 June to 10 July, hoping to emulate 2009 winners Switzerland.
