Rutten connection
Engelaar, who will be unveiled on Tuesday after undergoing a medical, will be reunited with Fred Rutten, previously his coach at FC Twente and who took the 29-year-old with him to Schalke at the start of last season. Rutten left the Gelsenkirchen outfit in March but became PSV coach for the 2009/10 campaign a month later.
Latest signing
Capped eleven times by the Netherlands, and a regular for Marco van Basten's Oranje at UEFA EURO 2008™, Engelaar previously played for NAC Breda and KRC Genk. He becomes the second summer signing for PSV after defender André Ooijer, and will join the club as they start their bid for European honours in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
