Moral to join Racing in January

Real Racing Club have agreed to sign central midfielder Toni Moral from Deportivo Alavés for a fee believed to be in the region of €650,000, with the deal to be completed once the transfer window opens in January.

The 27-year-old former FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF youth player has agreed to sign a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Sardinero. Alavés expressed their appreciation to the player who joined the club in 2006 from RC Celta de Vigo, with a club statement reading: "We would like to thank Toni Moral for his professional attitude and we wish him every success in the future."
