The 25-year-old, who made 65 Ligue 1 appearances in his two-year spell at Nantes, had a further two seasons remaining on his contract with the club that was relegated to the French second division last term. However, Signorino can now look forward to a four-year deal with Getafe, who qualified for the first round proper of the UEFA Cup by virtue of reaching the Copa Del Rey final in May. He joins Daniel Díaz, Mario Álvarez, Oscar Alfredo Ustari, Kepa Blanco as well as loan signings Miguel Pallardó and Pablo Hernández among the new faces at Getafe, which is now coached by Michael Laudrup.
