Zeta bulk up for European bow

Cup winner
The 25-year-old Markoski moves after three seasons at FK Železnik (now FK Voždovac) in which he scored six times in 81 appearances, and helped them lift the Serbo-Montenegrin Cup. He has agreed a two-year contract.

'Great challenge'
"The transfer to Zeta is a good move for me," said Markoski. "I expect to be one of the cornerstones of Zeta's team and develop into a leader. European football offers a great challenge for me and I believe we will be one of the most successful clubs in the country."

Well travelled
A technically gifted and creative player, Markoski started his career at FK Mladost Lucani before switching to FK Crvena Zvezda in summer 2000, where he failed to establish himself. After another spell at Lucani, he joined Železnik, where his performances earned a call-up to the Serbia and Montenegro team, for whom he has four caps.

Defensive recruit
Marian is a 30-year-old defender who should add plenty of experience to the Zeta back line. He too has signed for two years. Zeta enter the UEFA Cup in the second qualifying round on 11 August.

OFK reinforcement
Another of Serbia and Montenegro's UEFA Cup representatives, OFK Beograd, have also been busy in the transfer market, snapping up Stevan Stosic from second-division FK Napredak. The midfielder said: "I'm happy because I will play for a big club. Now it's up to me."
