Mallorca spell
The 27-year-old's permanent arrival in the Spanish Primera División, after a loan spell with RCD Mallorca in the second half of the 2004/05 campaign, brings an end to his four-season stay in Germany. In his homeland, Romeo played for Club Estudiantes de La Plata and CA San Lorenzo de Almagro.
Warm welcome
At today's presentation in El Sadar, Osasuna chairman Francisco José Izco said: "We have a lot of faith in Romeo and I would like to give him the warmest welcome to this city [Pamplona]. I hope he is able to triumph here on a sporting level and a personal one." The transfer means Romeo can look forward to UEFA Cup football, with Osasuna entering the first round in September.
