Damaged ligaments
"The surgeon has pointed out that the front ligaments of his shoulder are heavily damaged," Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf said. Banovic is the second player in the squad to succumb to a serious injury this season, after new signing Manuel Friedrich suffered a cruciate ligament injury.
