Santos success
The 25-year-old midfield player started his career with Guarani FC with whom he won two junior championships before joining Santos in January 2000. He went on to score 26 goals in 225 games and win the Brazilian championship in 2002. He has been capped five times at senior international level.
European campaign
Renato will team up with Sevilla's other Brazilian stars Daniel Alves and Julio Baptista as the club begins preparing for their 2004/05 domestic and UEFA Cup campaigns.
Sales sale
Formal presentation
Sales will be formally presented by his new employers on Friday. The 26-year-old hails from Seville and has scored 16 goals in four seasons with Valladolid.
