Danish side Esbjerg fB have added to their ranks ahead of their UEFA Europa League group stage bid by recruiting Norwegian international midfielder Mohammed Fellah from Vålerenga Fotball.
Capped twice by his country, Fellah has agreed a three-year deal with his new club. "Esbjerg feels like the right step in my career as I need something new to happen," said the 24-year-old. "They're a good football team who play in the Danish league, which suits my way of playing better than the [Norwegian] Tippeliga. It is going to be an exciting adventure and I'm looking forward to showing my creativity and helping the team improve."
Fellah can also look forward to facing R. Standard de Liège, FC Salzburg and IF Elfsborg in UEFA Europa League Group C, after the draw was held in Monaco earlier today. Niels Frederiksen's side pulled off a surprise by defeating AS Saint-Étienne in the play-offs and begin their bid away to Standard on 19 September.
