Japan striker Shinji Okazaki has signed a three-and-a-half year contract with UEFA Europa League contenders VfB Stuttgart.
Okazaki, 24, joins Bruno Labbadia's side just a day after his country's AFC Asian Cup final triumph over Australia. The striker makes the move from J-League outfit Shimizu S-Pulse, having passed a medical on Sunday. Stuttgart topped UEFA Europa League Group H and will face SL Benfica in the round of 32 on 17 and 24 February.
