Lithuanian Under-21 international goalkeeper Vytautas Černiauskas has signed for UEFA Europa League contenders SC Vaslui.
Černiauskas played in FK Ekranas's 1-0 win against HJK Helsinki in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie, but now moves to Romanian First Division side Vaslui on a four-year deal. "Vaslui are looking for a new first-team goalkeeper and I will do my best to become one," said 21-year-old Černiauskas, a key part of Ekranas's last two title-winning campaigns. Vaslui will discover their UEFA Europa League play-off opponents in the draw on 6 August.
