Italy coach Roberto Donadoni has named seven uncapped players in his first squad to face Croatia in a friendly at Livorno on Wednesday.
Azzurri newcomers
Giulio Falcone, Christian Terlizzi, Gennaro Delvecchio, Massimo Gobbi, Stefano Morrone, Angelo Palombo and Tommaso Rocchi have all been selected by Donadoni, who replaced Marcello Lippi last month. With the coach trying out a number of fringe players, and resting his seniors, AS Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia is the only surviving member of the squad that won the FIFA World Cup this summer.
