Poland's new national team coach Zbigniew Boniek has announced his backroom team, naming former international defender Stefan Majewski as his assistant.
Coaching credentials
Majewski graduated from the famous Cologne Academy before working with German 1. Bundesliga team 1. Kaiseslautern FC youngsters. He has also coached KS Amica Wronki, Zaglebie Lubin and Swit Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki.
Goalkeeping coach
Jozef Mlynarczyk, who played alongside Boniek for Poland during the 1980s, has retained his place on the national team staff as goalkeeping coach. He will be performing a similar role at Amica Wronki, who hired him a few weeks ago.
Administrative team
Miroslaw Ryszka will be in charge of team affairs while Polish Football Federation (PZPN) General Secretary Zdzislaw Krecina will be responsible for overall arrangements.
Club doctor to be appointed soon
Meanwhile Wieslaw Ignasiewicz will be in charge of equipment with Piotr Maranda and Andrzej Zamilski acting in tandem as chief scouts. Artur Fraczyk and Krzysztof Leszczynski will be the club's physiotherapists. The club doctor will be named within the next month.
