Hungary will look to maintain their 100% record against Northern Ireland as the sides meet in their opening UEFA EURO 2016 Group F qualifier in Budapest.

• Hungary's four meetings with Northern Ireland have ended W4 D0 L0 (W1 D0 L0 at home – W3 D0 L0 in Belfast). The sides' most recent encounter was a friendly at Windsor Park on 19 November 2008, Erwin Koeman's Hungary beating Nigel Worthington's home side 2-0, with Sándor Torghelle (57) and Zoltán Gera (71) on target.
• The sides' only competitive encounters came in 1990 FIFA World Cup qualifying; István Vincze scored the only goal as Hungary won the home game 1-0 in Budapest on 19 October 1988.
