Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane has become the highest-scoring player in UEFA European Championship qualifying after registering a 13-minute hat-trick against Gibraltar.
The Los Angeles Galaxy forward, 34, also became the first player to claim three hat-tricks for Ireland. Moreover, he moved to within a goal of joining Hakan Şükür and Jon Dahl Tomasson as one of the joint all-time top scorers in the competition's history.
