Matchday one: Dynamo 2-2 Porto

Julen Lopetegui, Porto coach
We go into this match thinking we have not achieved anything yet. Tomorrow we will face a good team at a collective level, with a lot of good players and a lot of them part of the Ukrainian national team. They play good football. We played well at their place but couldn't get the win.

We have to give our best both defensively and in attack – to play at our limit – to get a good result. We take it game by game, and tomorrow is the most important match we have, so we will approach it with confidence, knowing that when we do things well, we can put on a good show and get the win.

Serhiy Rebrov, Dynamo coach
In the first match against Porto we were not at our best, we had some defensive flaws, but I briefed the players on what they could do to improve and they are ready. Our president has said this is the most important game of the season for us, but if things do not go as expected the world will not end. We will do our best.

We have analysed Porto and found some weak spots so we will try to take advantage of them. [Vincent] Aboubakar is a top player but there are other good players on the pitch, and that is who we will play against – the team, not a player.
