Norwegian champions Rosenborg BK put five past Breidablik to claim a commanding lead in their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie.

With the game seemingly headed towards the break goalless, Rosenborg made the breakthrough, Per Ciljan Skjelbred drilling a low shot past Ingvar Thór Kale. Just three minutes into the second half Mikael Dorsin doubled the hosts' advantage with a superb header from a cross by Markus Henriksen, who made it 3-0 on 72 minutes. Rade Prica extended the lead four minutes later before being replaced by Trond Olsen, who rounded off a comprehensive victory.

Breidablik were tentative from the off and never really got into the game as an attacking force. They will, however, be left to rue Rosenborg's opener, Prica bringing the ball down inside the penalty area and finding Skjelbred, who finished coolly into the bottom right-hand corner.

Jan Jönsson's side doubled their lead three minutes into the second half through Dorsin, who timed his run to perfection to meet Henriksen's pinpoint cross. The 18-year-old then found himself on the scoresheet courtesy of a sublime long-range strike which gave Kale in the visitors' goal no chance.

Mushaga Bakenga's 76th-minute delivery was met by the head of Prica. Olsen then raced clear seven minutes after coming on and found the net to give Rosenborg a seemingly unassailable lead ahead of next week's second leg.
