Olympique Lyonnais and France right-back Anthony Réveillère's "season is over" after scans revealed he ruptured a cruciate ligament in his left knee during Saturday's 1-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain FC.
Missing quintet
The French international full-back was carried off with just 12 minutes played at the Parc des Princes following a collision with Stéphane Sessègnon. Subsequent scans confirmed initial fears and Réveillère – capped five times by France – is facing at least six month on the sidelines, with OL confirming that "his season is over". With François Clerc already out with a knee injury it means a chance for highly-rated Thimothée Kolodziecziak, who made his Ligue 1 debut when replacing Réveillère. The 17-year-old may be handed his first UEFA Champions League appearance as Lyon attempt to secure a spot in the first knockout round away to ACF Fiorentina.
