Two-year deal
The 31-year-old Argentinian, nicknamed 'El Caño', has agreed a contract running until 2010 with the option for a further 12 months. Since leaving CA Lanús in his homeland, Ibagaza has spent seven seasons at Mallorca split either side of a three-year spell at Club Atlético de Madrid between 2003 and 2006. Last season he scored five goals in 32 league games as the islanders just missed out on the UEFA Cup but his new club enter the UEFA Champions League in the group stage and have also signed Damián Escudero, Edmílson, Joseba Llorente, Robert Flores and Jozy Altidore this summer.
