FC Barcelona have announced that defender Oleguer Presas is likely to be sidelined for the next six weeks after breaking a bone in his hand.

X-ray confirmation
The 28-year-old started Saturday's game at Sevilla FC having missed the last two months with a calf injury. Oleguer played the full 90 minutes but was taken to hospital after the match where an x-ray confirmed he had fractured the third finger on his left hand. The injury leaves Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard short at right-back as both captain Carles Puyol (thigh) and Gianluca Zambrotta (calf) are also out, although the Italy defender is expected back for next weekend's game against Real Zaragoza. Oleguer, who has played ten league games this term, is likely to miss both legs against Celtic FC in the UEFA Champions League first knockout round.
