The official match ball for the UEFA Champions League knockout stages and final, the Finale Cardiff, has been unveiled.
Inspired by the national emblem of Wales, the ball's design features a striking dragon print. The dragon, a symbol of power and strength in Celtic mythology, represents the ferocity with which the latter stages will be played. The 2017 final takes place on Saturday 3 June at the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff.
As with all adidas UEFA Champions League official match balls, its outer coating provides optimal grip, while the familiar thermally-bonded star panel design provides a seamless surface for improved first touch.
The ball will be used during UEFA Champions League matches from Tuesday, when Benfica host Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain take on Barcelona.
