Olympique de Marseille have unveiled Saber Khalifa as their latest new face after the 26-year-old finalised his move from Évian Thonon Gaillard FC, with Modou Sougou going the other way on loan.
Two days after the clubs agreed a deal the Tunisia forward passed a medical and put pen to paper on a four-year contract on Friday. "I'm happy to be here at a great French side," he said. "The aim is to win title but first I have to fight to play."
Khalifa has scored 14 Ligue 1 goals over the past two campaign, including a 65-metre effort against OGC Nice that was named goal of the season last term. Marseille will kick off their UEFA Champions League campaign in the group stage.
