Manchester United FC have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa from the Bundesliga club.
The transfer, reported to be worth around €14.8m, is subject to the 23-year-old passing a medical and obtaining a work permit. United expect both to completed by the end of the month.
Kagawa, formerly of Cerezo Osaska in his homeland, was on target 13 times in the Bundesliga this season as Dortmund retained the title and won the German Cup. He opened the scoring in the 5-2 final victory against FC Bayern München.
